The Balloon Boy saga has been declared a hoax by the Larimer County, Colorado, sheriff's office. The sheriff said Sunday that his department has evidence to indicate it was a publicity stunt....REALLY?!? A man who was on TV wanted to be back on TV???? When does this happen???
A 16-year-old Australian girl launched her 34-foot yacht out of Sydney Harbor on Sunday, beginning a solo 23,600 mile journey around the world. If she completes it, she'll be youngest to pull it off....coolest thing I did at that age was repell from a helicopter...she's got me beat.
In Irondequoit, New York, Saturday, a number of men put on women's shoes and went for a walk. Men participating in the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" event raised money for a shelter for abused women... NOW THIS is a GREAT idea!!!...and not just because I'd to break out my heels..lol
